Meet Zog. A doctor thinks that Zog needs to have pictures taken of the inside of his body.
Having his pictures taken won’t hurt Zog and it will be over in no time at all.

After arriving in the department, Zog must first wait in the waiting room.

This is the injection room.

Zog is having a small injection. This allows a magic medicine to go around inside Zog’s body so his pictures can be taken.

Zog will feel a little scratch for a few seconds.

After the injection, Zog is now ready to be scanned on the gamma camera.

This is a gamma camera.
Zog is being looked after by a helper who will be taking the pictures on the camera.
Zog’s parent/carer will be in the room whilst he is having his pictures taken to make sure Zog is okay.
Zog is asked to lie very still so the pictures taken are not blurry.

While the gamma camera is taking his pictures, Zog can watch his favourite programme.

After the scan, Zog will get a sticker for his bravery.

The doctor can now look at Zog’s pictures. Zog had fun and can now leave the department.
