Services in the community

The Trust provides a variety of community services across the Lincolnshire and Grove areas. These include a day rehabilitation unit, physiotherapy and minor injury units.

John Coupland Hospital, Gainsborough

The John Coupland Hospital in Gainsborough offers a variety of services including:

  • Inpatient facility
  • Minor injuries unit
  • Outpatients department
  • Theatre and surgical daycare
  • Young and physically disabled unit
  • Day rehabilitation
  • Physiotherapy and occupational therapy
  • X-ray department

The hospital is run by Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, but some services such as diagnostics are provided by the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Skegness and District Hospital

This community hospital includes two in-patient wards, an outpatients department and an urgent care centre. Its 24-hour accident and emergency department deals with a high tourist influx.

The hospital is run by Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust. United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust provides accident and emergency, outpatients, rehabilitation and x-ray services.

Johnson Community Hospital

The Johnson Community Hospital in Spalding opened in June 2009 to replace the Johnson Hospital, Welland Hospital and Holland Road Clinic. It provides many services including a minor injuries unit, outpatient beds, inpatient beds, x-ray department and ambulance station.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust run the hospital, but some services such as diagnostics are provided by the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
