Grantham and District Hospital

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

Grantham Urgent Treatment Centre

The current Accident and Emergency Department at Grantham Hospital has temporarily become an Urgent Treatment Centre ran by Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust. The centre will treat minor illness and injuries in adults and children of all ages. The centre will be open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and will be staffed multi-disciplinary team.

In addition to the current system, where patients can come along to the centre and be treated, LCHS will also be offering the added convenience of bookable appointments via NHS111, they call this Talk Before You Walk. People with booked appointments will be given priority over walk in patients, unless there is a clinical priority.

By calling NHS111 in advance, you have the convenience of starting your treatment and we will be able to direct you to the most appropriate services for your need.

NHS111 is available 24/7 and offers support and guidance, enabling patients to access the right services at the right time.

Grantham Gonerby Road Health Clinic

We are temporarily running a variety of outpatients services and appointments from our Gonerby road health clinic.

Currently blood tests for difficult-to-bleed patients are being undertaken at the Vine Street Surgery in Grantham every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon in a booked slot service being run by Path Links phlebotomists.

For those patients who require bloods to be taken as a result of an outpatient appointment and are not considered difficult-to-bleed, these would be undertaken through their GP.

To contact the Gonerby Road Health Clinic, please call reception on 01476 858 454.
