Online access to your appointment information

Digital letters and information is available for most of our Outpatient appointments. You can access this information on your smartphone, desktop computer or laptop.

Our patients who need to visit certain clinics and specialities can access their appointment information online. Appointment letters and details are available on a free, secure website that can be easily accessed.

Accessing your appointment information in this way means that you receive the information quickly and have easy access to this information before and during your appointment.

How do I access my information online?:

As soon as your appointment has been booked you will receive a text message with details on how to access your appointment information.

Once you receive the message click the secure link in the text message to take you through to the appointment information website.


Copy and paste the link into a web browser on your desktop or laptop to access this with your computer, laptop or tablet.

Once you enter the website, type in your date of birth and unique four-digit PIN number that you received in the text message.

Congratulations – you have now successfully accessed the appointment information website and this will take you to a page with details about your appointment. This includes your appointment date, the type of appointment and your clinic information.

What else can I do on the website?

Confirm – Rebook – Cancel

Select whether you want to confirm, rebook or cancel your appointment.

Confirming your appointment will let you add the appointment to your own calendar and send you a reminder nearer the time.

If you can’t attend the date specified in the letter, you can choose to rebook or cancel your appointment. If you select rebook we will contact you to arrange another date.

It’s quick, easy, safe and secure and if you don’t access your digital letter within 48 hours you will automatically be sent a letter in the post.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I don’t receive or respond to the message sent to my phone?

If you don’t access your link to the online appointment information within  48 hours of receiving the text message you will automatically be sent a letter in the post. You’ll also automatically receive a letter after three unsuccessful login attempts.

How long after my appointment will I still be able to view the letter?

If you are registered, then your appointment letters will remain visible for as long as your account is active. If you have not registered your letter will be viewable up to 10 days after your appointment date. If you have registered, your letters remain visible for as long as the account is active.

When will a physical letter be sent out if I do not access my digital letter?

If you haven’t viewed your digital letter within 48 hours a physical letter will be sent to you.

If I didn’t open my SMS invitation and a physical letter was sent, can I still open the link and view my digital letter at a later date?

Yes, the link within the invitation will remain active up until 10 days after your appointment date. You can also register with the online system within this time-frame so you can  keep a historic record of your appointment letter.

How do I register?

Once you have logged in to view your digital letter, you will see a register option in the top right-hand corner of your screen. You will be asked to set up a username (your email address) and password.

Where can I view my historic appointments?

Once you have registered, you can view other appointment details. You can view these by selecting the appointments icon in the top left-hand corner of your screen:

  • Upcoming tab shows all your appointments in the future
  • Previous tab shows all your past appointments that you should have attended
  • Cancelled tab shows all your appointments, both past and future that have been cancelled, either by you or your care provider.
How secure is the website?

A unique URL is generated for each invitation and the website is secure and uses encryption technology to keep your data safe.

I have forgotten my password?

If you have registered before and have forgotten your password, you can change your password by clicking  the forgot my password option on the login page.

How can I change my password?

If you already know your password and have successfully logged in, you can change your password by clicking on your username in the top right corner of the portal and select change password.

What if I don’t want to use the website?

If you do not wish to receive any further digital communications from the Trust, simply respond with opt out and this information will be registered on your hospital information. A physical letter will be sent to you in the post.
