Tinnitus is defined as the perception of a sound when there is no external cause.
The respiratory service is a new service currently being developed for children and young people living within Lincolnshire, who have a diagnosis of cystic fibrosis or asthma. There is currently one paediatric respiratory nurse covering children and young people from birth to 19 years.
Our children's Macmillan nurse specialists support any child/young person with a cancer or leukaemia diagnosis across Lincolnshire and have close links with their treatment centre and shared care centre to ensure a holistic, needs led approach to care and support.
We offer our service and support to children, young people and their families when a child or young person has a deteriorating life-shortening (life-limiting) condition and is approaching end of life.
We are nurses with qualifications in children’s nursing. We have a range of experience in caring for children with disabilities in the community, school and hospital settings.
