Dean is an experienced chair and non-executive director in the NHS and private sector, and will bring a wealth of experience to the role. Dean and his family have lived in Lincolnshire for 8 years, and he is passionate about improving the quality of care at his local hospitals.

Staff working in Lincolnshire’s hospitals are being recognised for their amazing caring, kindness and dedication in a bumper year for the ULHT Staff Awards. This year an impressive 430 nominations were received for the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust Staff Awards 2016, 100 of which were from patients. This is an increase over just 150 nominations overall the year before.

Patients needing investigative tests on their bowel are being seen up to two weeks earlier thanks to a pilot project in Lincolnshire’s hospitals. United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is currently piloting the use of a new way of booking in colonoscopy tests for patients with suspected cancer at Lincoln County Hospital.
