The service provides specialist information and support to patients in hospital with various respiratory conditions.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy deals with human movement and function. It aims to maximise patient potential and return to normal function following ill health, trauma or disability for other reasons.

Pharmacy

The pharmacy departments provide a comprehensive range of services with the overall aim of ensuring that medicines are used in the most effective and appropriate way, with the right medicine being given to the right patient at the right time.

Children and young people

The service is available seven day a week and offers 24 hour cover at Lincoln County Hospital and Pilgrim Hospital, Boston. The consultants have a range of specialist interests to ensure a comprehensive service provision and to meet a host of national service standards.

Orthoptics

Orthoptists diagnose and treat defects of vision and abnormalities of eye movement. They are part of the professional eye team and their work helps people of all ages from babies to the elderly. Orthoptists also have an extended role in assisting children with reading difficulties and glaucoma monitoring.

Orthopaedics and Trauma

Orthopaedics and trauma is an area of surgery to treat injuries and conditions of the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves).
