We are pleased to announce that the Macmillan Cancer Support Centre at Lincoln County Hospital has officially re-opened for pre-booked face-to-face appointments!

Our brand new centre opened to the public earlier this year only to close shortly after due to the pandemic. The team continued to provide vital practical, emotional and financial support to people affected by cancer over the phone and via video calls.

We are very excited to be able to open our doors once again and have made some changes so that we can provide much needed cancer support in a safe environment:

  • Advanced booking is essential and 1 hour appointments are available between 9:00am and 3:00pm to allow time to disinfect the area between patients. NB We cannot offer a drop-in service at present.
  • Only 2 people will be allowed in the centre at any one time and social distancing will be maintained.
  • Face coverings are to be worn at all times and are available in the centre.
  • To keep traffic within the hospital to a minimum we ask that patients arrange to see us after an existing appointment rather than making a special trip.

We are still offering support over the telephone, email and video calls for those who would prefer to stay at home.

You can contact the centre on 01522 573799 to make an appointment or email [email protected]

We look forward to welcoming you into our new centre!
