What do you like best about your job?

The challenge and knowing that ultimately we’re helping people!

It’s great to have a role working across the system where you feel you can make a difference and help people on their way.  I love the challenge that working with partners brings – it’s a chance to do things better, however there’s often a “curve ball” thrown in which we have to overcome.

Name one thing you couldn’t live without?

My son – he keeps me grounded, is the best “sounding board” you could ever ask for, and always tells me as it is.

What’s your favourite sport?

I’m a relatively late starter on this but am starting to get into football… blame it on my partner! In the last year, I’ve watched England beat Bulgaria at Wembley, and Lincoln City beat Southend – two wins, can’t be bad.

If you could have any superpower what would it be?

To go back in time

What was the last thing that made you smile?

Looking at holiday brochures with thoughts of a white beach and long G&T.

What talent do you wish you had?

To read music.

Where is your favourite place in the world?

Currently Whitby and the Yorkshire Coastline

If you could change one thing about where you work what would it be?

I’d love for the Talent Academy to have a dedicated space and training areas for our student work and apprentice training.

How would you like to be remembered?

Kind, caring, but also someone who gave it their all!
