Our patients are at the heart of everything we do at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust and we want to make Christmas 2021 extra special for our patients with handmade cards. We are inviting children and local crafters to take part again this year in making Christmas cards and small Christmas decorations for patients who are in our hospitals at Christmastime.

We would welcome as many cards and decorations as possible to be sent to us by Friday 10 December. Cards and decorations will be shared across all of our hospitals from Monday 20 December.

We are looking for:

Cards –

  • A5 in size
  • Pictures on the cards should be drawn, painted or coloured in with nothing stuck to them that can fall off.
  • It would be lovely to include a Christmas message inside from you, with first name/age/school.

Decorations –

  • Made from paper, straws, chenille sticks, craft sticks, salt dough, knitted and sewn.

Please send them to:

Christmas Cards for Patients, Patient Experience Team, Grantham Hospital, 101 Manthorpe Road, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 8DG

Bigger parcels can also be dropped off at our main receptions at Lincoln County Hospital and Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.
