Co-organiser Dr Junaid Khan, Specialty Doctor in Stroke Medicine, said: “We are incredibly proud to be doing this for our patients. Stroke is one of the leading causes of death and disability in the UK.

“Every five minutes, someone has a stroke – and for many patients, the quality of rehabilitation equipment available during recovery can be the difference between independence and long-term dependence.”

The Evening of Hope Ball takes place on Saturday 6 June 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Lincoln. On arrival, guests will be greeted with a welcome drink before being seated for a three-course dinner, followed by live entertainment, an auction, and raffle.

Tickets are £65 each and fantastic sponsorship opportunities are also available, with all proceeds going directly to stroke services at Lincoln County Hospital via United Lincolnshire Hospitals Charity.

Junaid added: “The ball has been planned and organised by members of the stroke team – doctors, nurses and therapists who care for stroke patients every day.

“Every penny raised during the evening will go to provide additional equipment that will make a real difference to our patients’ recovery. This ball is our way of giving something back to the people we care for every day.”

United Lincolnshire Hospitals Charity Manager Ben Petts showed his support for the event and added: “We invite everyone to buy a ticket and step into spring with style and dance the night away, with the knowledge that you are making a real difference to the lives of our stroke patients and their families in Lincolnshire.”
