Throughout April, teams across the Trust have been ‘Springing into Action’ and throwing themselves feet first into this year’s NHS pedometer challenge.

It’s been a successful campaign for ULHT and we’ve had four teams featuring regularly in the top 10 weekly leader boards.

Special mention must surely go to magnificent movers ‘Maternity Longitudinal’ who’ve consistently claimed the top three spot and at the time of writing has amassed almost 2.5 million steps together.

Other notable top 10ers were the sensational ‘Sole Sisters’, the heroic ‘Holy Walkamolies’ and persistent plodders ‘Research4all’ – well done to everyone once again.

The challenge officially finishes on Sunday 29 April and we’ll have a full report on the final top 10 and top Trust teams in next month’s ULHTimes.

If you enjoyed the challenge this year or have been inspired to get a bit more active – get in touch with the communications team and let us know.  Also, please send it your team photos for us to share, just like the plucky Com(ms)rades below.
