A £22 million scheme offering high quality affordable houses and apartments for rent in Lincoln, Boston and Grantham has this week celebrated its 10 year anniversary.

Progress Living, which provides key worker accommodation for United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) and other professionals, hosted a celebratory event to mark the scheme’s 10 year milestone.

The event involved Progress Housing Group’s Chief Executive, Jacqui De-Rose and Claire Hall, Business Manager for Estates and Facilities at ULHT, planting a commemorative rose bush at one of the scheme’s newest sites in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Since the schemes opened they have accommodated more than 35,300 NHS staff, of these more than 11,000 residents have been medical students on placement and more than 10,000 were nurses, physiotherapists and other health care workers with stays ranging from one night to several years.

Caroline Belman, Head of Progress Living, said: “It is thanks to our great team and partners, ULHT that we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary, this is a wonderful achievement and we look forward to housing many more tenants in the future.
