NHS Equality Delivery System (EDS)

EDS is a system that helps NHS organisations improve the services they provide for their local communities and provide better working environments, free of discrimination, for those who work in the NHS, while meeting the requirements of the Equality Act 2010.

EDS is a data-driven system that helps NHS organisations improve the services they provide for their local communities and provide better working environments, free of discrimination, for those who work in the NHS, while meeting the requirements of the Equality Act 2010.

EDS considers all protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010 for our communities, patients and workforce alike, and considers health inequalities including from 2022, the Core20Plus5 priorities.

Here at the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust we are proud to work with the EDS system to ensure we are developing and improving services, free from discrimination, to meet the needs of our patients, service users, communities and our staff. We complete EDS in partnership with patients, communities and staff.

EDS 2022 is the latest version that we will be completing in 2022-2023. This page has been updated with the latest report and action plan.

We review our EDS on an annual basis.
