At United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust we recognise and celebrate the value equality, diversity and inclusion add to the positive experience of those who use our services and the people who work with us.
Our equality, diversity and inclusion annual report provides an update on the progress we have made in relation to equality, diversity and inclusion for patients and service users and also for our staff. The annual report also gives an overview of some of our plans for the next year. Publishing this report forms part of the legal requirement under the Specific Duty in the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED), part of the Equality Act 2010.
At the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust the majority of our business is geared around the cycle of the business year (April – March). We have therefore made the decision to publish our equality, diversity and inclusion annual report following our July Trust board meeting, to ensure up-to-date information from the full previous financial year is included.
