Become a member
We are looking for people who have an interest in shaping how local NHS services are developed. Being a member can mean as much or as little commitment as you wish. For some, it will involve being kept up to date on the latest news within the Trust, for others it can be more active involvement through focus groups, patient representative activities and locality forums.
Apply to become a volunteer
Volunteers can make a huge difference to the lives of our patients. The Trust supports and encourages the efforts of the voluntary sector in ensuring that our patients have a positive experience during their stay in hospital. We greatly value their individual contribution to enhancing and complementing the care provide by our paid staff.
Fundraise or make a donation
You can help by fundraising or making a donation to our charitable funds. All donations are very gratefully received and go towards enhancing the care and services we provide to our patients.
Make things for us
Staff and volunteers are helping us to make a range of items to help and support patients and their family and friends. If you would like to contribute, please drop them off at the hospital PALs offices. Some ideas and patterns are below:
- Swan pattern – bags to put loved ones effects in to take home and can be made in a variety of sizes. Download the swan pattern here.
- Drawstring bag – used for children’s comfort bags and also the swan care bags. Download the drawstring bag pattern here.
- Swan ring bags – to place loved ones jewellery in. Download the swan ring bags pattern here.
