Dietetics

Our aim is to provide an effective nutritional education service for both patients and staff.

The department of nutrition and dietetics at the Trust is made up of a team of 25 dietitians and six support staff. There is a small home enteral feeding team who support patients and carers with enteral feeding in the community. There is close working with community diabetes services to provide nutrition education.

Some of the areas we cover are:

  • Nutritional support and enteral feeding
  • Obesity management
  • Nutrition in children
  • Nutrition in renal disease
  • Nutrition in coronary heart disease
  • Stroke
  • Diabetes
  • Mental health service

We provide individual consultations and some group sessions. We accept referrals for both inpatients and outpatients. Medical staff and qualified health care professionals can refer to our service.

We also provide a services to Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Outpatients clinics are also held at a number of health centres and GP surgeries across Lincolnshire.
