Respiratory nurse specialist for children and young people with asthma and cystic fibrosis

The respiratory service is a new service currently being developed for children and young people living within Lincolnshire, who have a diagnosis of cystic fibrosis or asthma. There is currently one paediatric respiratory nurse covering children and young people from birth to 19 years.

Due to the service being in its infancy, acceptance for referrals will be targeted to certain groups of children and young people who have asthma. As the service grows and develops, expansion will grow to involve other categories of children and young people living with asthma.

The service accepts referrals for all children and young people with a diagnosis of cystic fibrosis. The service is Trust wide with delivery from Boston, Grantham and Lincoln Hospitals. Please email us for further information.

This criteria specifically refers to the new service being developed for children and young people (CYP) who have Asthma and/or Cystic Fibrosis living within the Lincolnshire geographical boundaries.
