Our team provides a dedicated and dynamic service for children and young people with diabetes. We support and educate all our patients and families to manage their condition and believe they are the centre of our team.
Should you suspect a child or young person has Type 1 diabetes a same day referral for assessment is required. This referral needs to be made urgently to the on-call paediatric registrar as the child or young person will need to be seen on the same day.

There is an emergency On-Call Service Mon-Fri 8am-7pm & Weekends & Bank Holidays 11am-3pm. For urgent concerns during these hours please telephone your local switchboard and ask to be put through to the Paediatric Diabetes Nurse on call.
