A comprehensive range of screening and symptomatic breast services are provided across the hospital trust facilitating the diagnosis and treatment of breast problems.
Lincoln County Hospital breast unit has four specialist breast surgeons; three Macmillan clinical nurse specialists supported by experienced breast care nurses; consultant radiologists, consultant mammographers and imaging support staff plus administration staff.
The team is dedicated to providing specialist services from referral to discharge, these include:

- Combined oncology clinics

- Nurse led prosthetic fitting

Pilgrim Hospital, Boston
The purpose built Boston breast unit offers a diagnostic service for those referred either by their GP or hospital consultant with a specific breast problem. Referrals to the unit are seen by a specialist team which includes a consultant breast surgeon, radiologist and specialist nurses.
A comprehensive range of screening and symptomatic breast services are provided across the hospital trust facilitating the diagnosis and treatment of breast problems.
Other services offered by the unit include cancer follow up, family history surveillance, breast screening assessment and nurse led lymphoedema, prosthetic and counselling services.
Screening clinics are in place which meet the national guidelines.

Grantham and District Hospital – Emerald Suite
Grantham hospital has a dedicated breast unit. Patients can access a Macmillan breast care nurse specialist and there are weekly nurse led and consultant led clinics. Nurse led wound review clinics are held daily and nurse led prosthetic clinics are held weekly. There are weekly consultant led results and review clinics. There is also an outpatient tattoo service.
