Long Service Awards

Long Service Awards will be made to staff who complete the agreed number of years’ service within the NHS.

Long service commence from the 20th work anniversary and are awarded every 10 years.

Eligible staff will be contacted by the Trust the month after they reach their milestone anniversary.  The Trust use the service record held within ESR for this information**.

If a member of staff feels they are eligible, they may wish to speak in the first instance to their own line manager who should then contact their Divisional Head of HR for guidance.

Years’ service and awards:

  • 20 years – badge, pen, certificate and £100
  • 30 years – badge, certificate and £200
  • 40 years – badge, certificate and £300
  • 50 years – badge, certificate and £400

** Staff are responsible for ensuring the records held within ESR accurately reflects their service record.
