Lincolnshire Talent Academy, led by United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT), brings together health and care organisations from across the county to help recruitment and skills development for our current and future workforce.

Initially set up to encourage younger people into the trust, the academy evolved into a partnership of health and care organisations dedicated to the engagement, recruitment and development of talent.

Alongside ULHT, key partners include:

  • Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust
  • Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust
  • Lincolnshire Care Association
  • Lincolnshire General Practice
  • St Barnabas Hospice.

We deliver proactive services to help recruitment and skills development of our current and future workforce, while ensuring the portability and integration of skills across the health and care system.

We work with students, schools, colleges and universities in addition to other agencies such as the Department of Work and Pensions to provide services for individuals from the age of 14.

Our remit includes careers inspiration, guidance and work experience, through to the management of apprenticeship training and support for apprenticeship trailblazer standards across our stakeholders.

Our shared goal is to adopt a grow-our-own culture within the county.
