Supporting research across the trust, the Lincolnshire Clinical Research Facility has worked on hundreds of trials involving thousands of people. It is strongly supported by the Lincolnshire Research Patient and Public Forum.

Areas of research include includes oncology, haematology, stroke, cardiology, paediatrics, dermatology, diabetes, midwifery, ophthalmology, respiratory, anaesthesia, general surgery gastroenterology and orthopaedics.
