Mediation

Supporting our teams to help foster and maintain good working relationships across the trust

Good working relationships are vital if we are to provide high-quality, effective, patient-centred care. Strong mediation skills are vital if we are to resolve difficulties before they cause disruption.

Mediators help reach the best possible outcome by listening to all sides and allowing everyone to identify, consider and discuss their own and other people’s current and future needs.

Through open and honest communication, mediators build improved awareness and greater understanding of issues and can help to resolve complex and challenging disputes quickly and effectively.
