The caring, compassion and dedication of hospital staff from across Lincolnshire is being recognised at a glittering awards ceremony later this year.
The shortlist for the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust Staff Awards 2017 has now been finalised.
In total, 44 individuals and teams who work across Lincolnshire’s hospitals have been shortlisted for this year’s award in 11 categories. They were chosen from an impressive 690 nominations this year, including 100 from patients.
Every shortlisted individual and team has now been invited to the ULHT Staff Awards 2017, which is taking place at the Epic Centre at the Lincolnshire Showground on Thursday 4 May.
Trust Chair Dean Fathers said: “The daily challenges that the staff at ULHT face are significant and they do an incredible job as a matter of routine.
“I am proud of them, and these awards are our way of recognising those that go beyond the norm, deliver amazing results and confidence to those people we serve, the people of Lincolnshire,” he said.
“All those nominated deserve their place in the shortlist, but one very special person has gone even further and will win the Chair’s Award. I can’t wait to see their face on the night.”
The awards are entirely funded by sponsorship from local businesses and suppliers. Any business which is interested in supporting the awards is asked to contact [email protected] or call 01522 573986.
