A nurse consultant from United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been named Pressure Care Nurse of the Year at one of the nursing profession’s most prestigious awards, The British Journal of Nursing Awards.

New chair appointed

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of a new chair to our Board, Dean Fathers. Dean is an experienced chair and non-executive director in the NHS and private sector, and will bring a wealth of experience to the role. Dean and his family have lived in Lincolnshire for 8 years, and he is passionate about improving the quality of care at his local hospitals.

Recognition for hundreds at staff awards

Staff working in Lincolnshire’s hospitals are being recognised for their amazing caring, kindness and dedication in a bumper year for the ULHT Staff Awards. This year an impressive 430 nominations were received for the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust Staff Awards 2016, 100 of which were from patients. This is an increase over just 150 nominations overall the year before.
