Membership newsletter – February 2017

A big thank you to all members who attended our forum in January 2017. We had a record attendance and there was lots of energy in the room. Your patient/public perspective is invaluable and very useful to our organisation. All the feedback collected during this meeting will be carefully considered to inform our plans for the future.
We are in the process of organising the next forum which will be in May. Please look out for an invitation soon.

Welcome to our membership newsletter for February 2017.

Items include opportunities to get more involved with the Trust as a member, including taking part in training to become a recognised patient representative.

One such opportunity includes:

Patient Led Assessment of the Care Environment (PLACE)
This is a programme of patient led–visits and we need a large group of patient representatives to assess all areas across our four hospital sites. We have now received notification that we should carry out inspections at two of our sites and have arranged dates for the assessments. If you would like to get involved in these visits, please contact the membership office.

In addition, find out more about good news going on within the Trust, including shortlist announced for hospital staff awards 2017.
