What do you like best about your job?
The autonomy to suggest and implement initiatives that directly influence staff engagement and development.

What was the first record you ever bought?
George Michael’s debut solo album – Faith!

Name one thing you couldn’t live without?
Food! Ask my team, I am hungry all the time. I definitely live by the adage – live to eat!

How would your friends and colleagues describe you?
An enthusiastic, determined and perseverant individual who is fun to be with.  At least I hope this is what they will say.

Who had the greatest influence on your career?
My dad. He and I are very close and every career decision taken has been preceded by a long discussion with him.

If you could have any superpower what would it be?
I already have a superpower. My daughter calls them magic mummy eyes. I always know when my kids are up to no good and I know exactly what they are doing.

Who’s your favourite band?
It used to be Metallica and Guns n Roses. I also listen to a lot of Indian Bollywood music but not a specific band.

What is your greatest achievement?
My three children. I’ve always been a bit of a workaholic and never thought I could have work and happy children. But I think I have achieved that balance (with a lot of support from my husband).

Where is your favourite place in the world?
Bangalore, India. That’s home for me. It’s where I was born and where my parents are. It will always be a special place.

What’s your favourite book?
I love books so it’s difficult for me to name just one. The Anne of Green Gables series, The Harry Potter series, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Twilight series, Jeffery Archer books, even a bit of Mills and Boon – I love them all.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you take with you?
Food, coffee and a book.
