Nurses and other health professionals are being encouraged to come along and find out more about working at Pilgrim hospital, at a special recruitment day later this month.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) hopes to interview for a number of nursing posts ‘on the day’ during an open event on Friday 29 June 2018.

The Trust is looking for registered nurses and newly qualified nurses pending qualification, across a variety of specialties to come and work at the hospital in Boston, as part of a renewed campaign to boost its ranks over the coming months.

There will be members of staff from various wards and departments on hand to speak to potential new recruits, to help give them a flavour of what life is like working at the busy hospital.

In addition to nursing posts, the hospital is also looking to recruit a number of operating department practitioners to help out in the hospital.

Matron Maxine Skinner said if you want to come and make an impact on the local community and join a team of caring and compassionate NHS professionals, Pilgrim is the place for you.

“Pilgrim has a great team-centred approach with staff that care about each other and put the patient at the centre of everything they do,” she said.

“If you’re a caring and compassionate person, interested in providing excellent standards of care for our community, then Pilgrim hospital needs you.

“We’ll have information regarding positions in a variety of areas including what we can offer in return. This includes continuous professional development.

“Please come and join us and meet our wonderful teams.”

Applicants should ideally have an RGN/ODP qualification but are encouraged to come and meet staff to see what is on offer.

The event is taking place from 10am to 2pm in the hospital’s post graduate centre conference room on 29 June.
