Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Pilgrim since october 2000. Trained from Oxford Deanery. Initial training/residency 3 years , in Anaesthesia from a large teaching hospital in Mumbai , LTMMC,followed by passing MD Anaesthesia , the highest qualification in India ( FRCA equivalent ). Subsequently took up a Lecturers post in Peadiatric and Major maxillofacial anaesthesia for 1 year ( clinical and academic),finally shifted to UK in 1993. 2 years SHO training in Dartford Kent,and 5 years of registrar (SPR) training in Northampton/Oxford Deanery followed by the current consultants post. I have intermediate level training in both subspecialities , Intensive Care and Chronic Pain. My interests are Intensive Care and in Anaesthesia it is regional , Vascular and Paediatrics.
