Mr Lee has a passion to apply clinical and biomechanical principles in hip and knee surgery. He embraces the 50-year British tradition and craftsmanship of a well planned and thought-out cemented Exeter hip replacement. And yet he is at the forefront of sports surgery with the ‘all-inside’ technique for ACL reconstructions. Being a double board certified Orthopaedic and Sports medicine surgeon with a PhD in medical engineering, and MSc in injection therapy he has successfully applied his research to clinical use, with over 30 clinical publications. He has successfully treated UK premiership footballers for muscle injuries which significantly reduced their time for recovery and return to play. His clinical interests are lower limb arthroplasty, regenerative and sports surgery and non-surgical treatment of arthritis.
