Dr Soliman is a general medicine physician with specialist training in Stroke Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine
Dr Soliman qualified in medicine at Alexandria School of Medicine in Egypt in 1992 and went on to train in Critical Care Medicine , Toxicology and Emergency Medicine in Alexandria University Hospital. He was appointed as a demonstrator then assistant lecturer in the same department.
Then he moved to Guys’ Thomas’s and Kings’ College School of Medicine, London in 2001 to pursue his research interest in magnetic nerve stimulation and assessment of respiratory and limb muscle functions in patients with COPD, Critical care neuro - myopathy and post-polio survivors. He also carried out research trials pertinent to sleep medicine including insomnia and sleep disordered breathing. He then trained in General and Geriatric medicine in East of England and Sub specialized in Stroke at Cambridge University Hospitals.
Dr Soliman has published his research in leading International journals and presented many abstracts in National, European and International meetings.
