This page provides technical help with using this website and the technologies used to enhance it.

File downloads

A number of documents published on this website are available as file downloads in a number of formats. To use these file formats you may need to have additional viewer software installed on your computer, as discussed below.

Whenever a file is linked to from this website the file format icon will be displayed and the size of the file indicated in brackets after the link. The larger the file size the longer the file will take to download. Exactly how long it will take to download depends on the speed of your internet connection.

PDF files

Many of the downloadable documents on this website are published in PDF format (PDF icon). In order to view and print these files you will need to download and install the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.

Word files

Some downloadable documents are published in MS Word (DOC icon or DOT (document template) icon) or RTF format (RTF icon). If you do not have Microsoft Word installed on your computer then you will need to download the free MS Word viewer (search for word viewer).

PowerPoint

Some downloadable presentations are published in MS PowerPoint format (PPT icon). If you do not have MS PowerPoint installed on your computer you will need to download the free MS PowerPoint viewer (search for powerpoint viewer).
