The Stroke Association funds research into prevention, treatment and better methods of rehabilitation, and helps stroke patients and their families directly through its Rehabilitation and Support Services.

Arthritis Care exists to support people with arthritis and to provide information and advice about the illness.

Kidney Research UK is the leading UK charity funding research that focuses on the prevention, treatment and management of kidney disease. Kidney Research UK also dedicates its work to improving patient care and raising awareness of kidney disease.

The Dementia Centre is provided by PSS, (Liverpool Personal Services Society), an innovative and dynamic charity that has found pioneering new ways to support people within their community since it was established in 1919. PSS has developed internationally acclaimed innovations in social care to help tens of thousands of people across the United Kingdom and beyond.
