Research Passport
The ULHT Research and Development Office co-ordinates the Research Passport system as per the NIHR guidance on Research Passports. Hence, please find below all essential documents that are required for your access. For an individual who is not employed by an NHS Trust they will need a Research Passport to obtain either an Honorary Contract if there is a direct bearing on patient care or a Letter of Access if there is no direct bearing on patient care. If an individual is employed by an NHS Trust, they will require a confirmation of pre-engagement checks form to be completed by the NHS organisation which is their substantive employer.
