Lincoln County Hospital

Lincoln County Hospital is the largest medical centre in Lincolnshire, and serves the city of Lincoln and North Lincolnshire, providing all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service. Although the hospital itself was founded over 200 years ago, the majority of the facilities have been rebuilt during the last 20 years, including in 2001 a radiotherapy and oncology unit serving cancer patients throughout Lincolnshire, and, more recently, a new intensive care unit and a new four-ward rehabilitation unit. For further details and information, please see http://www.ulh.nhs.uk/. Please see the Annual reports page for the Trust's current annual report.

A peaceful chapel, run by a caring and dedicated chaplaincy team for the use of members of all faiths or none, is well situated in the midst of the activity of the hospital.

The pleasantly situated Postgraduate Medical and Dental Centre, where the weekly half-day release teaching takes place, is located within Lincoln County Hospital. Facilities include a new clinical skills lab, a newly refurbished function room, and the Oscar Stewart Museum of Medical History.

Recently built living accommodation is available on-site: for details please see http://www.newprogress.co.uk/.
