Education and training

Patient safety and good quality care mean that the Trust is committed to providing a wide range of education and training programmes for all its staff according to their needs. It does not matter where you work or what you do, everyone at United Lincolnshire Hospitals has access to training and development opportunities.

All new employees complete the Trust’s induction programme when they start work. Medical staff who are starting out of sequence or locum doctors who are called in at short notice should complete the appropriate medical induction e-learning program which can be accessed from the links below.

In addition, the Trust provides mandatory updates both in the classroom and through e-learning programs, which make it easy to learn at a time and place which is convenient to the individual. Excellent library facilities provide additional support on all main sites.

Further updating and career development opportunities are available through programmes organised by Postgraduate Medical Education Centres and the GP Specialty Training Programme.
