About us
The rheumatology department at Lincoln County Hospital is a multidisciplinary team comprising doctors, specialist nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists supported by dedicated secretarial and administrative staff.
We provide a full range of care from the assessment to treatment of all types of rheumatic disease including disorders of the joints, muscles, bones and tendons such as arthritis, connective tissue disease and degenerative joint disease.
Our dedicated rheumatology team is situated in an independent self-contained unit within Lincoln County Hospital and provides outreach clinics at Boston, Grantham and Skegness Hospitals.
We undertake an active role in the education of undergraduates from the Nottingham medical school and Derby graduate entry medical school and therefore you may encounter students at your consultation.
We have an active research team and are taking part in national clinical trials. If you are interested in taking part in these then information can be obtained at your clinic or day case visit.
