Orthopaedics and trauma

A wide-ranging trauma and orthopaedic service is provided through inpatient services at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, Grantham and District Hospital, Lincoln County Hospital and County Hospital, Louth.

Trauma and orthopaedic day case and outpatient services are also provided on these sites and at John Coupland Hospital, Gainsborough. Outpatient services only are provided at Skegness and District General Hospital and Johnson Community Hospital in Spalding.

Across Lincoln County Hospital, Grantham and District Hospital and County Hospital, Louth there are 14 consultants and a range of supporting middle and junior medical staff, who collectively provide a broad spectrum of sub-speciality interests within orthopaedics and trauma. They are supported by a trauma nurse co-ordinator and a multi-disciplinary team including physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
