Nuclear Medicine
About our service
The nuclear medicine service uses unsealed radiopharmaceuticals for the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases and dual photon X-ray absorptiometry for the measurement of bone density.
It operates on three hospital sites: Lincoln County Hospital, Pilgrim Hospital Boston and Grantham and District Hospital. The service is provided by clinical scientists, radiologists, nurses, clinical technologists and administrative staff.
