Breast Surgery

Our service

Breast surgery is carried out at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, Grantham and District Hospital and Lincoln County Hospital. Outpatient consultations are also delivered at County Hospital, Louth.

The service also offers the following clinics across Lincoln County Hospital, Pilgrim Hospital and Grantham and District Hospital:

• Nurse-led pre-operative assessment clinics
• Nurse-led prosthetic fitting clinics
• A lymphoedema assessment service
• A drop-in support session service
• Multidisciplinary clinics
• An oncoplastic and reconstruction service
• BSS assessment clinics
• Specialist procedures – mammotomy

We also provide a wide-ranging breast symptomatic service through inpatients, day cases and outpatients at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, Grantham and District Hospital and Lincoln County Hospital. Outpatient consultations are also delivered at County Hospital, Louth.

There are seven consultants on our breast surgery team and a range of supporting medical and clinical staff, who collectively provide a comprehensive breast symptomatic service.
