ENT - Ear, Nose and Throat

The Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Department provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. The department performs a range of surgical procedures including mastoid and middle ear surgery, nasal and sinus surgery, major and minor head and neck surgery including operations on the larynx, pharynx, thyroid, parathyroid and salivary glands.

Outpatient clinic services are provided at Lincoln County Hospital, John Coupland Hospital, Gainsborough and Grantham and District Hospital.

The department provides comprehensive care for ear nose and throat problems including major head and neck cancer surgery and there are also a variety of special clinics and nurse-led services.

The ENT Department also provides out of hours emergency ENT care. This could be accessed through your GP or A & E Department.

Additionally, there are a wide variety of audiology services offered by our associated Audiology Department. The speech and language therapists are also adjacent to the ENT Department providing an interlinking multidisciplinary service.
