Accident and emergency performance
Our target for accident and emergency services is for 95% of patients to be seen, treated and either admitted or discharged within four hours. We are working to improve our performance constantly and will always aim to see all patients as quickly as possible in A&E.
The development of webcams in A&E departments across the Trust is one example of success, not only in helping to achieve targets set, but also in improving patient service and choice. For more information on the webcams, please see the A&E live waiting times page.
