Mobile/Modular Operating Theatre Facility

The Trust require on a rental basis a mobile or modular operating theatre facility to be placed at Lincoln County Hospital.

The unit is required as soon as possible, and then for around nine months.

The first three months the Trust are to provide all staffing, but for the following six months the successful contractor will be expected to fully staff the unit.

The unit will be required to undertake ophthalmic day case procedures.

It is expected that the unit will be provided to a finished site as arranged by the Trust, after agreement with the succesful contractor.

The services to which this procurement process relate fall within Part B of Schedule 3, Part 10 of the Public Services Contracts Regulation 2006. Neither the publication of a notice nor the employment of any particular terminology nor any other indication shall be taken to mean that the Trust intends to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations save those applicable to part B services.
